Chamber Ambassadors
The Hoisington Chamber of Commerce Ambassador Club is a committee of goodwill representatives whose objective is to promote the Hoisington Chamber of Commerce and maintain our membership strength.
Ambassadors are responsible for welcoming new and expanding businesses to the Chamber at ribbon cuttings, personal visits and special events. Ambassadors should actively recruit members and continue to represent the Chamber while conducting business for themselves in the community.

Membership in the Ambassador Club is open to employees of member firms and individual members of the Chamber of Commerce. At any one time, there are up to 24 Hoisington Chamber Ambassadors.
The Ambassador Club is comprised of local professionals that are charged with the responsibility of bringing community attention to the Hoisington Chamber of Commerce and the members that it serves. The Ambassadors meet monthly on the third Thursday at noon.

Attend monthly meetings held on the 3rd Thursday of the Month at 12:00 PM.

Attendance or greeter at special Chamber events when schedule permits (i.e. Chamber Coffees, Business After Hours, Legislative Coffees, Labor Day BBQ)

Assist Chamber staff whenever possible

Spearhead membership drive and retention activities

Attend Ribbon Cuttings

Mentoring new members at each function or activity.

Be an active member or employed by a member of the chamber for a minimum of 3 months prior to applying

Have strong interpersonal skills, motivation, flexibility and sensitivity to Chamber members’ needs - When communicating with Chamber members through the Ambassador program, an Ambassador is expected to represent the Chamber first and foremost and their company second

Have a willingness to learn about benefits, programs, services and upcoming events within the Hoisington Chamber
